In this course you will get an introduction to the JavaScript language as well as an understanding of development environments, debugging techniques, syntax and code structures. After completing this course you will have the necessary prerequisites to attend the Developing Web Apps with the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript 4.x course.
